As you can tell, I forgot to post. Now I suppose this has turned from a blog, to a personal diary, that you can read, IF you just so happen to stumble across my nestled little bi-yearly writings.
So alot has happened in the last 6 almost 7 hectic months. Poco has definitely matured, in some ways more that others.
We have been riding alot, mostly outside our little confined space, which means alot of fun!
But the most exciting thing that happened was we figured out that Poco was not, in fact, a gelding colt, but a very-very-mature stallion.
We pondered the idea of keeping him as a stud, which proved-after several dealings with other horses-hard, because of the nature of a stallion.
So last Friday, the vet, Mr. Pat Regier-an awesome vet i might add-came out to our place and gelded the poor fellow. Lets just say Poco's lonely now, quite quite lonely, missing his two friends.
But it was an amazing experience seeing how fast the sedatives worked, how he wrapped his leg and how Poco got up looking like an awkward newborn foal just taking his first steps.
But I am very excited and I hope I can still write some more on my "Blog".
